A LainePassion for Healthy

As a true to life Nutritarian, I enjoy finding the freshest, healthiest, tastiest meals, and best quality fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains, beans, and fish on which to feed.  Even a nice quality cooked, grass fed, hormone free piece of meat now and then can be nourishing and delectable.

With this organic, nutritarian practice of eating, there are no restrictions, however, a true nutritarian strives for the highest nutrient-dense super foods (top of the ANDI list) as a part of every meal.

Knowledge of the ANDI list, recognition of dietary recommendation percentages by the FDA, along with awareness of your body’s needs allows us to be healthier by eating what we want, staying energized, and feeling satiated.

I am dedicated and delighted to find and share all of the freshest, and most nutritionally dense products, menus and recipes around.  Follow my blog as I explore Chicago and travel the world critiquing cuisine, sharing customs, and uncovering culinary tradition while always infusing a healthy, creative twist of wellness.

While the wellness wave has become quite crowded, I wonder if some people are in denial of their state of health and/or not educated enough to care.

Personally, the value and enjoyment I find in exploring new foods, regularly exercising, and consuming a balanced, nutrient dense diet is insurmountable.  Let us unite and commit to digging society out of its self-destructive state of excess and disease.  It’s time to open our eyes and brains.

What minds crave and bodies desire will definitely differ from person to person and from time to time.  However, the research behind the benefits of consuming a variety of  nutrient dense, antioxidant rich food is undeniable.

If you want to maintain a well balanced, healthy lifestyle for yourself, your family, or your business, stick with me and my nutritarian style of eating.

Be Well.  Your health affects you, the future, and everyone close to you.

I have to admit, it’s a pretty solid Blog. I typically find myself uncomfortably bored with these things. However the ones I’ve read kept me extremely interested, not to mention your facts are incredibley accurate… nice job lady!

Thank you for putting this site together. I’ve followed a nutritarian diet for about two months and I feel and look better than ever. I live in Louisiana and it’s difficult to find social support for this type of living. So, thanks again for putting this great info out there!

      Hi Amanda,

Thank you for reading and posting. I am so happy you are enjoying the site. Someone has to help spread the word and inspire more people to practice wellness! 🙂 I am so glad you are feeling great, keep up the commitment. It can be a challenge in todays, but it’s such an amazing way to live. Society will begin to change once more people realize how much a Nutritarian lifestyle improves the quality of living. In Chicago we are already starting to see an abundance of healthy fast food spots and juice/smoothy bars that are organic and not offering only sugar laden items. As Gandhi said, “If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. … We need not wait to see what others do.”
